Hi all,

My company is currently seeking rock star Mozilla engineers to join our growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to develop Mozilla based web services for media delivery to mobile phones. The candidates will be actively involved in the planning, specification and development of the applications on the Mozilla platform.

Responsibilities
The Mozilla expert will work on extending the framework and current Firefox code to develop a cutting edge browser solution. The responsibilities will include the following:
1. Extending the Mozilla framework and Firefox modules
2. Developing extensions and Mozilla plug-ins
3. Work closely with product management, and be able to do rapid feature development and continuous product improvement
4. Utilize best of breed programming techniques including design patterns, re-usable and modular development

Required Skills
1. Demonstrated track record of developing, shipping and supporting Mozilla based products through multiple releases and versions
2. Ability to quickly master new technologies and push the envelope for performance and reliability
3. Defensive coding ability accompanies with strong analytical and problem solving skills
4. In-depth debugging skills; ability to reach out and use team strengths to solve problems
5. Ability to work in small collaborative teams and conduct high bandwidth conversations

Required Experience
At least 5 experience of extensive C/C++ development experience. Demonstrable use of Mozilla development framework, Gecko, XPCOM/COM/ActiveX, JavaScript and Mozilla plug-ins. Strong knowledge of object oriented development, application frameworks (design and implementation) and Windows internals including multithreading and file I/O. Additional points for experience in contributing to open-source projects and Mozilla, media centric applications and systems development, knowledge of audio/video processing and streaming.

Education
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant discipline and experience.
