They are way to few C++ focussed user groups in Sweden so I decided to start a C++ group so that we who love C++ can get together and talk about the greatest programming language there is. If you like C++ you should join as well. Also we do not descriminate against C aficionados :)

The D programming language is a much too nice language not to look into. It combines a compact, almost script-like syntax (C-like) with the performance of a compiled language. It makes you more productive by providing safe defaults and an (optional) garbage collector, to avoid memory leaks and other pitfalls common in C/C++, while you can still do anything you want, if you really want (turn of GC, play with pointers etc).
